EcoGenics© alternative shelters have been so popular that we've decided to form an alternative shelter section or division of EcoGenics©. In addition to our EcoShelters© (yurts), domes and closed-loop ecosystems, we now offer conventionally configured housing. Based upon the same panelised system used in the EcoShelter today, over eighty five examples of these were built from 1970 to 1974 on some of the steepest lots in the best subdivisions in Gatlinburg and other areas of east Tennessee. All the designs feature active and passive solar systems, radiant floor heating and other energy saving features.. We are registered architects offering blueprints and design services for both residential and commercial projects. We have over thirty years of design experience ranging from single family dwellings to large condominiums, motels, hotels, restaurants, convention centers, churches, amusement centers, theme structures, and planned unit developments.
