Monolithic EcoDome© System The EcoGenics© monolithic dome system consists of cement with chopped strands or fiberglass is sprayed on an inflated form. Successive layers are sprayed until one or tow inch thickness is achieved. A layer of sod or turf or selected plantings may be laid over the cured shell making the structure virtually invisible. The earth acts as insulation, and camouflage... ...the arch forms are raised up against the inflated bladder form. The braces are set and the form work is sprayed over. Once the concrete or fiberglass is set the bladder is deflated and the structure can stand alone. The arch forms are then removed. There are two dome types, a square dome and a hexagonal dome. These domes can be joined together modullarly in various configurations to form rooms or they can stand alone. Our structures are built to help you fulfill your dream of living off the grid.
